Although some rumors said that the company was facing a kind of difficult problem relating with this car production, but now we can conclude that everything is going well eventually, as we find out that 2013 BMW I3 Concept Coupe will be on its mass production this year and will be ready to be delivered to the dealer in November. Further information, 2013 BMW I3 concept Coupe will become the second BMW I3 electric sport car after 2013 BMW M5.

BMW I3 Concept Coupe’s body will be made from carbon-fiber-reinforced-plastic (CFRP) which can be found directly covering its grille on the front part, window line, and some particular windows area. A better motor cooling is gained by updating 2013 BMW I3 Concept Coupe’s front apron that gives an air-curtain effect to the car.
On the back side, the airflow also has been optimized by a diffuser component incorporated with the apron. 2013 BMW I3 Concept Coupe sporty look is also completed by its set of 20-inch light-alloy wheels in a double-spoke format which wrapped in low-rolling-resistance tires. The sporty and strong image is also highlighted by the combination of Solar Orange metallic covering its body and high-gloss black on its hood, roof, rear hatch lid and its body’s lower edge.
2013 BMW I3 Concept Coupe’s cabin looks more open and airy with no transmission tunnels. The mixture of wood, leather, and wool material will result in passengers comfort, as well as some updated interior feature such as the iDrive menu that makes the control buttons are now on the center console, and the two displays, which one of them is 6.5-inches display, located on the steering column and the dashboard, giving a complete exchange information between the vehicle and the driver.
This 2013 BMW I3 Concept Coupe electric car is powered by an electric motor developing 170 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque, apparently no difference from the standard BMW I3 engine. A 100-mile range, per BMW I3’s estimated, is ensured by lithium-lion battery as the source of 2013 BMW I3 Concept Coupe’s electric motor power, which is sent to the rear wheels through a single-speed, direct-drive transmission. Three driving mode can be selected by the driver based on his need. If you want to enjoy the sportiness and the comfort of your seat and driving, you can choose the “comfort” mode. Switch it to “eco-pro” mode if you want a total of 20 percent driving range extension. And the last mode, given if you want to push your driving range further, you can use “eco-pro+” mode, although it can only be used at speeds of up to 56 mph. For overall this car engine is absolutely slower than 2013 BMW M3 DTM Champion and 2014 Kia Forte engine capacity.
