Seems not enough with 2013 Hyundai IX35 and 2013 Hyundai H1, Hyundai Motor Company officially announced their new luxurious sport coupe concept called 2013 Hyundai HND-9 Concept at 2013 Seoul Auto Show. The new concept car proofs that this Korean Automaker is seriously developing its premium vehicle class and completes their sport car’s line up. No wonder if 2013 Hyundai HND-9 Concept is highly expected to become the next generation of Hyundai Genesis Coupe, which has been sold currently.
As premium sport car, 2013 Hyundai HND-9 Concept must have unique and eye-catching look both on exterior and interior design, which is clearly typical of the segment out there. It indeed got the looks, with the scissor doors, sleek and unique body’s sculpting. The front part will remind us with Lexus’s nose and wide hexagonal-shaped grille. Its long bonnet and 2,860 mm wheelbase is one of the most dramatic parts of this sport coupe. 2013 Hyundai HND-9 Concept is measured at 4,695mm of length, 1,890mm of width and 1,340 mm of height. Its attractive style comes from the standard exterior elements included, uniquely sculpted rear lamps, dual tail pipes on both side of the car, 22-inch alloy wheels which mixed with carbon material. This car is more aerodynamics than 2013 Buick Riviera Concept.

2013 Hyundai HND-9 Concept’s powertrain comes from 3.3 liter Turbo GDi V6 engine which pulls out a total of 365 hp and matched with eight-speed automatic transmission. The company has not officially confirmed the price and release date, but rumors said that this new generation of Hyundai Genesis Coupe will be out for market in the end of 2014 with price tag that is expected not very far from the current Genesis.
