2013 Hyundai IX35 – One of most productive Korean automaker, Hyundai, is proudly released their new generation compact crossover at 2013 Geneva Motor show. Though there are not some major changes applied to this SUV, 2013 Hyundai IX35 is so ready to be on sale at Europe market and compete with Nissan Qashqai and Peugeot 3008 in SUV segment. The company claim that this next generation SUV is truly made for Europe and dare to be challenged to fill all European standard.
Sharing most of the same part with the i30 and facing no significance changes from its predecessor doesn’t make 2013 Hyundai IX35 lost its distinctive look and nice performance. The most notable changes among its less is found on its up front part. You will find a revised grille slots are located between the new headlamps that is featured with LED running lights. On its rear side, you will see its redesigned tail lamps and wheels. This car got standard 17-inch alloy wheels, while the other trims level also available in 18-inch alloy wheels.
Compare to its rival, Nissan Qashqai, 2013 Hyundai IX35 is 10cm longer, meaning this Korean crossover will have larger cabin than the Japanese one. The interior design is pretty comfortable during a long trip because of the soft suspension. 2013 Hyundai IX35 also has nice dashboard and accessible panels, while the top model trim level got more features like panoramic glass roof, climate control, heated leather seats, and keyless entry. Some of its interior design’s materials may have been improved though we still could feel some cheap—or cheap-looking fabrics and plastics inside the cabin.

Its new engine line ups are available in 1.7 and 2.0 liter V4 diesel engine which each produces 134hp and 114hp. It also offers 1.6 liter petrol engine with less power but with cheaper cost. All engines are developed in Europe which is including some features that could increase fuel economy and efficiency. 2013 Hyundai IX35 also provides FLEX STEER driving system to enhance your driving experience and create more European driving and handling style as a European crossover.
There is not certain information about its release date, but Hyundai IX35 2013 will have £17.000 as starting price for two-wheel-drive petrol model and could reach £25.000 for the 2.0 CRDi 4WD model. It is more expensive than 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander price tag.
